A tabletop RPG that asks the question, what would it be like to cast any magical spell your mind could conjure? Dick Wizards lets you answer this burning question and more! As faithful employees of Rhode Island’s capital city, Providence, you’ll be using your newfound magical abilities to investigate mysteries.
What kind of mysteries you ask? Lovecraftian nonsense! Providence has recently come under attack from various cults, and tentacled beings. Being able to cast any spell you can think of will surely help you become super sleuths in no time flat. There is a tiny side effect to being apprentice level wizards…your spells will sometimes misfire. The spell effect will still happen, but expect plenty of uncontrolled magical mayhem and collateral damage in the process.
Dick Wizards utilized a simple d12 roll under a statistic to resolve any dramatic dice rolls. Casting spells will require the use of a standard Tarot Deck, where you hope to draw minor arcana cards to avoid complications.
This is a full game. You will need a d12, 2d6, pencil, paper, and a standard 78 card Tarot deck to play Dick Wizards.
